ASL Kelp Meal

From the cold and clean North Atlantic coast of Canada

ASL Kelp Meal

Commonly known as Norwegian Kelp or Rockweed, Kelp Meal is widely recognized as the richest marine plant for agriculture use in both feed and soil applications. This unique seaweed grows in abundance along the North Atlantic coast of Canada, where its cold and clean growing environment is continuously replenished by the world's highest tides.

Harvesting & Processing Method

Acadian Seaplants Limited, a world leader in seaweed-based products for agriculture, harvests the valuable seaweed and processes it into Kelp Meal. Trained Acadian Seaplants harvesters hand-rake the marine plants under closely controlled conditions to ensure purity, freshness and to safeguard the natural resource.

Acadian Seaplants dries the fresh seaweed using gentle passive solar drying technology which preserves the maximum benefits of the live seaweed, then carefully grinds and mills the dehydrated material into granular meals and flours.

Our rigorous quality assurance procedures, enforced from harvesting through processing, combined with our 30 years of experience in manufacturing premium seaweed products for world markets guarantee pure products of consistent and exceptional quality.

Packaging Options

ASL Kelp Meal is offered in different packaging formats including 50 lb, 25 kg and bulk bags. Custom packaging and labeling are also available.

Acadian Seaplants Limited's Kelp Meals are organic and easy and safe to use.
